Born in Russia in 1983, Natasha Romanoff went on to become a world-class spy in the employ of the KGB. She began Red Room training towards the life of an assassin when she was just a child, and her ruthless effectiveness in later years earned her the codename, “Black Widow.” A secret agent trained in espionage, stealth, disguise, and infiltration, she is extensively trained to near perfection in various fighting styles, as well as being a professionally trained ballerina. She is fluent in Russian, English, French, German, Italian, Latin, and several other languages (though she primarily speaks English, Russian, and German). As described by Tony Stark, she is “something of a mystery.”

Natasha strives to make up for the bad she has done in the past by helping the world. She is level-headed, strong-willed, and independent. Can at times, be an overly sarcastic, closeted dork. She prides herself in being smart, and protective of those she loves. Is a huge secret softie, and a shameless flirt, but only around those she trusts. Her trust is not easily earned. Now in her free time she can be found at the compound — she loves to bake, knit, read, watch movies, and still dances ballet for comfort. Secretly, she loves domesticity. She adores children and cats, always taking on a motherly figurehead no matter who she’s with. She hopes to foster a comforting environment for those who meet her, but won’t hesitate to kick anyone’s ass — especially those who threaten her loved ones. She is fiercely loyal, and someone you can always count on.
